2008 Workshops
In 2008 a series of workshops were conducted to promote the prestigious Department of Education and Training (DET) Northern Territory Training Awards. The workshops gave information on:
- What’s in it for you
- Award categories and eligibility criteria
- How to nominate and how to support a nominee
- How to present the evidence and get the judges’ attention
- Tips for good nominations
The workshops also encouraged involvement in the awards as a great way to:
- Celebrate achievements of your organisation, staff and students
- Boost business through greater recognition and publicity
- Boost career and advancement opportunities for students and give them the chance to win up to $3000 cash prize
- Have the opportunity to represent the Northern Territory at the Australian Training Awards
